Agent Guide

Agents may login to inbound call queues using a feature code or a button/speedial key on their phone. 

 
To Login/Logoff:
Dial *44 ( this is the default code but it may be changed in the feature codes module )

To Add A Queue:
Dial *45 ( this is the default code but it may be changed in the feature codes module )

To Setup A Logon/Off Button In XLite:
  1. Click the contacts tab in XLite.
  2. Right click a contact group and click Add Contact
  3. Enter Agent for the firstname and Login for the Last
  4. Enter a+{your agent number} in the softphone field. ( Agent number 200 would enter a200 )
  5. Click the Show this Contacts Availability Button.
  6. Finish saving the contact and restart the softphone.
  7. You should now be able to login/logoff by double clicking the Agent Login contact.

To Setup A Logon/Off Button on an Aastra Desk Pone:
  1. Login to the Endpoint Manager
  2. Click Aastra Phones
  3. Click the extension for the agent
  4. Click Button Mapping
  5. Choose an available key and set it to BLF mode and set the Label to Agent Login
  6. If this phone will always be used by the same Agent set the data to a+{agent number} ( agent 200 would be a200 )
  7. If this phone will be used by multiple agents set the data field to *44
