Aastra Phones - Web Recovery Fix |

This problem usually occurs when an Aastra VoIP phone loses it's firmware due to an improper reboot of the phone. If the LCD screen on the phone reads "web recovery at ipaddress", follow the instructions below to have the phone download the firmware from the Freevoice server. Fixing Aastra Web Recovery - Get the IP address of the phone from it's LCD display. This is the address in the "web recovery at xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" message.
- Go to a computer connected to the network , open a web browser and enter the IP address of the phone in the address bar and press enter.
- You should see a web page like the one below.
 The filename entered will depend upon the model of the phone. - The phone shoulddownload the firmware then reboot. Once the phone reboots and if it has been configured in endpoint manager it will download it's configuration and retirn to a working state.
