1. Endpoint Manager - Adding Devices

Adding Phones Using Endpoint Manager:

  1. Open your web browser and enter the IP address or hostname of your server in the address bar (ex. http://192.168.1.115) then press enter.
  2. You should Freevoice PBX User page should now be displayed.
  3. Switch into Admin Mode by clicking the switch link next to User mode in the top right corner.
  4. Enter maint for the user, the default password is freevoice.
  5. Move the mouse over the Asterisk tab, and click on Endpoint Manager.
  6. At the End Point Configuration page choose the type of VoIP phone you will be adding.
  7. Click the Add Device or Add Phone link.
  8. Choose the FreePBX Device ID from the drop down box. This is the extension the phone will use, it should be configured first in Freepbx
  9. Choose the correct phone type from the drop down box.
  10. Enter the MAC address of the VoIP phone in the Mac Address field. The MAC address is usually located on a sticker on the bottom of the VoIP phone. MAC addresses are 12-digit hexadecimal numbers.
  11. Configure any programmable keys. Check the VoIP phone's user guide for configuration options.
  12. Click the Submit button when done.
  13. Reboot the VoIP phone, the phone should find it's configuration files on the server, and reboot with the configured extension.
