Aastra 9133i & 9112i Configuration with Endpoint Manager |

To configure Aastra VoIP phones to connect to the Freevoice PBX you must know the IP address of your server and extensions for the phones must be created in FreePBX and added in the endpoint manager. In many cases the phone will need to be reset to factory defaults, in order to accept the endpoint manager settings, see the bottom article. If this is a new installation, or you have changed the server ip make sure the setup-aastra command has been run from the linux cli. Aastra 9133i & 9112i Configuration Server Setup:- Press the Options key on the phone
- Scroll down to and select Network Settings
- Enter the default admin password 22222
- Scroll down to and select TFTP Server
- Scoll to and select Alternate TFTP
- Enter the IP address of server using the dialpad, use the * key for dots. Press the set key when done.
- Scroll to 3. Use Primary and press the change key, the screen should then show alternate.
- Press the hangup key, then press # to restart the phone
- If everything is configured properly the phone will download the config files and register with the server.
Resetting Aastra Phones to Factory Default- Press the Options key on the phone
- Scroll down to 11. Phone Status
- Press the enter key
- Scroll down to 5. Restore Defaults
- Enter the default admin password 22222
- Press the enter key
- Select All Defaults
- Then press the # key to confirm
- The phone will reset, after it is done follow the instructions above.
