Grandstream Phone Instructions TransferCalls may be transferred to internal extensions or outside telephone numbers. Remember to add any required digits when transferring to an external phone number. The Transfer key will perform Blind transfers, Attended transfers are done by dialing a feature code.
For a blind(immediate) transfer: Press the Transfer key on your phone, then enter the extension or phone number you would like to transfer the call to, then press the Send key.
For an attended(supervised) transfer: Press *2 key while on an active call, you will hear the system voice say “transfer”, enter the extension or phone number and press the Send key. When the called party answers, announce the call and hang-up to complete the transfer. To cancel the transfer and return to the caller press *2 once again..
Voicemail TransferUse this feature to transfer a caller directly into a users voicemail box.
Use VM Transfer: While on the call you would like to transfer, press the Transfer key on your phone, then press the star key plus the extension and press the Send key.
Call ParkParking a call places that call on hold on a specific extension, allowing anyone to dial the parked extension for that call in order to pickup the call. Parked calls will time out and return to the extension that originally parked the call.
To Park a Call: Press ##70 followed by the Send key. The parked extension(101 thru 109) will be announced after pressing the Send key. Alert the intended recipient of the parked extension for their call.
To Pick a Parked Call: Press a Line key or Speakerphone key, dial the parked extension(101 thru 109) relating to your parked call followed by the send key.
Voicecall/IntercomUse this feature to start an automatic speaker phone call. The called party's phone will play a tone and automatically answer allowing a handsfree conversation.
To Use Voicecall/Intercom: Dial *66 plus the desired extension then press the Send key
Conference Call – 3 WayThe built-in Conference button allows for simple 3-way conference calls. If you wish to conference more than 3 parties, use the Conference Bridge.
To make a conference call: Place the first party on hold, place a call to the second party, press the Conference key and then press the flashing Line key for the first call. You will be connected to both parties creating a 3-way conference call.
Conference BridgeThe Conference Bridge will simultaneously connect numerous calls into one conference call. Various options maybe set for Conference Rooms, including password authorization.
To Use Conference Bridge: To join a conference dial the extension number of the conference. To send an external caller into the conference, transfer the call to the extension of the conference, they will join the conference bridge and hear music until another party enters the bridge. Once you have transferred all desired parties into the bridge, then dial the conference extension to connect yourself to the bridge.
Call PickupUse this feature to pickup a call ringing on another phone.
To Use Call Pickup: Dial **+the extension of the phone you would like to pickup.
