Transfer

Calls may be transferred to internal extensions or outside telephone numbers. Remember to add any required digits when transferring to an external phone number. There are two transfer buttons that may be used on the Polycom phones, the first is the “hard key” on the lower left side of the phone. This key will perform a blind transfer. The other will be a “soft key” found on your display during a call, this will perform either an attended transfer or a blind transfer.

For a blind(immediate) transfer: Press the Transfer key on the left side of your phone, then enter the extension or phone number you would like to transfer the call to.

For an attended(supervised) transfer: Press the Transfer key located in the phone's display panel, then enter the extension or phone number. When the called party answers, announce the call and press the Transfer key in the phone's display to complete the transfer. To cancel the transfer and return to the caller press the Split key in the phone's display.

Voicemail Transfer

Used to transfer a caller directly into a users voicemail box.

Use VM Transfer: While on the call you would like to transfer, press the Transfer key on the lower left side of your phone, then press the star key plus the extension and press the Send key.

Call Park

Parking a call places that call on hold on a specific extension, allowing anyone to dial the parked extension for that call in order to pickup the call. Parked calls will time out and return to the extension that originally parked the call.

To Park a Call: Press the Transfer key on the lower left side of your phone, then press 70 followed by the Send key. The parked extension(71 thru 79) will be announced after pressing the Send key. Alert the intended recipient of the parked extension for their call.

To Pick a Parked Call: Dial the parked extension(71 thru 79) relating to your parked call followed by the send key.

Voicecall/Intercom

Use this feature to start an automatic speaker phone call. The called party's phone will play a tone and automatically answer allowing a handsfree conversation.

To Use Voicecall/Intercom: Dial *80 plus the desired extension then press the Send key
To Block Voicecall/Intercom Calls: Dial *55 then press the Send key
To Allow Voicecall/Intercom Calls: Dial *54 then press the Send key

Conference Call

Call the first person. Press the Conference key to create a new call (the first call is placed on hold). Place a call to the second party. When the second person answers, press conference again to join all parties in the conference. When a conference has been established, pressing the Split soft key will split the conference into two calls on hold.

•    Placing the call on hold on the conference originator’s phone will place the entire conference on hold.
•    A conference may be created at any time between an active call and a call on hold (on the same or another line) by pressing the Join soft key.
•    Ending the call on the conference originator’s phone will allow the other parties to continue the conference.

Conference Bridge

The Conference Bridge will simultaneously connect numerous calls into one conference call. Various options maybe set for Conference Rooms, including password authorization.

To Use the Conference Bridge: Extension 650 is the default Conference Bridge Extension, to join a conference dial extension 650. To send an external caller into the conference, transfer the call to extension 650.
