Recordings To Be Used By The System: - Login to your Freevoice PBX admin page.
- Mouse over PBX and click PBX Setup.
- On the left side of the page click System Recordings under Internal Options & Configuration.
- To record a greeting from one of your phones,
- Enter the extension number in the first empty field, then click the Go button.
- From that extension dial *77 and begin recording at the sound of the beep, press # when you are done to review or re-record the message, or just hang up when satisfied. You may also dial *99 to hear the last recording.
- Then enter a name for the recording under step 3 then click the Save button.
- Click the red “Apply Changes" Bar at the top of the screen to apply the changes.
- This system recording will now be available for system use.
- To upload a pre-recorded sound file,
- Your file must be in .wav format 16bit PCM encoded at 8000hz
- Click the Browse button and select the file you wish to upload.
- Click the Upload button next to Browse.
- Click OK on the pop-up window informing you to wait for the file to upload.
- Then enter a name for the recording under step 3 then click the Save button.
- Click the red “Apply Changes" Bar at the top of the screen to apply the changes.
- This system recording should now be available for system use.
