| Setting Public IP in Endpoint Manager for Aastra |

This guide states how to change the listing of your Public IP address in Freevoice PBX. This allows Endpoint manager to provide your public IP address to the Aastra telephones so they may be moved outside the local network and still automatically connect. From the main menu bar mouse over PBX and Select File Editor Open sip_nat.conf Edit externip=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (x = your public IP) & Update Next mouse over PBX and select Endpoint Manager, Select Aastra phones, Select Edit Default Config. Enter your public IP address in Both Backup Proxy IP, Backup Registrar IP and submit. Once this is complete Aastra phones can be booted up once on the local network and then moved to any outside network without any manual programming.
