Setting Up Aastra VoIP Phones with Freevoice PBX Trixbox

To configure Aastra VoIP phones to connect to the Freevoice PBX you must know the IP address of your server and extensions for the phones must be created in FreePBX and added in the endpoint manager.

Aastra Configuration Server Setup:

  • Press the Options key on the phone
  • Scroll down to and select Network Settings
  • Enter the default admin password 22222
  • Scroll down to and select TFTP Server
  • Select Primary TFTP
  • Enter the IP address of server using the dialpad, use the * key for dots. Press the set key when done.
  • Press the hangup key, then press # to restart the phone
  • If everything is configured properly the phone will download the config files and register with the server.
