Putty is a free SSH client, this application allows us to connect to the Linux CLI over the local network or public internet to perform system maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Once putty has been installed start the application, you will see a window like the one below. Enter the IP Address of the Freevoice PBX server into the IP Address or Hostname field, then click the save button to save this address, and then click the open button to start the connection. Once connected you will be prompted for a user name and password, the default is user root and the default password is FVasterisk! .
