How do I set the time on Freevoice PBX Server |
|
The eastiest way to control the server time is using the Webmin GUI which is installed by default on Freevoice PBX Servers. You may manually set the time or set it to synchronize with a timer server. Setting the time on a Freevoice PBX/Trixbox using Webmin: - Login to Webmin by opeing your web browser, enter the IP address of the server with ':10000' at the end. For example if your servers IP address was 192.168.1.200 you would enter 192.168.1.200:10000 in your browsers address bar. Use the Linux CLI login for Webmin, the default user is root, the default password is FVasterisk!
- Click the Hardware tab in the menu located on the left of the page, then click the System Time link.
- You may set the time manually for both the system and hardware, these times should match. After setting the time and date click the apply button to apply the changes.
- You may synchronize the system and hardware time to the government time server by entering time.nist.gov in the time server field and then click Sync and Apply
